Bryan Sherwood

Bryan is the director of operations for His Healing Light Ministries. Even though Cyndy wrote the Healing Journey for women, Bryan knew God’s principles were for everyone. So he began a men’s class in 2009. God used this group to bring great healing to Bryan’s heart and mind.

Many unresolved, painful events were blocking Bryan’s life, including difficult childhood memories, having his first wife walk away, leaving him to raise three kids, and later the death of his nineteen-year-old daughter. Bryan witnessed, first hand, powerful restoration in his life through the Healing Journey.

Bryan wasn’t the only one leading men’s groups. Soon men’s classes were popping up in other locations. The ministry knew men using women’s materials would not be a suitable situation, long term. So, in 2014, they produced the men’s Healing Journey, with Bryan teaching the same biblical content.

Bryan is a General Contractor and enjoys the mountains and fly fishing, whenever he can get time off.

Hotel Style
  • The hotel style rooms are double occupancy with a bathroom. These are comparable to your typical hotel room with two double beds.

Dorm Style

  • The dorm style rooms are triple occupancy. There is an option for a fourth member, but they would need to stay in a top bunk. These rooms have shared bathrooms in the hallway typical of your typical dorm set-up.

*Please note that there is very little cell-phone reception at this location, especially for Version users. However, there is Wi-Fi and landlines are available.

Why do I have to have a roommate?

There are a limited number of rooms available at Watson Woods. If we allowed for single occupancy, it would significantly lower the amount of people we would be able to have stay on-site. Sharing rooms also helps us keep the costs down for you! If you are truly uncomfortable sharing a room, we suggest utilizing one of the nearby hotels.
