Clarion Green Fest
The Clarion Conservation District is partnering with local organizations and businesses to hold a Clarion Green Fest event Saturday, April 29 from 11am-3pm at the Clarion County Park. For further information call 814-393-6147.
Come out and enjoy a day filled with fun, hands-on activities for all ages including t-shirt tie-dying, watershed education activities, and more! Food will be available for purchase. There will be free ice cream! Vendors will have tables set up promoting their products or organizations. Guided tours of the acid mine drainage (AMD) passive treatment system at the park will be taking place at the event. AMD is polluted water associated with coal mining. Fluids can be highly toxic to humans, animals, and plants. Come learn about the work that is being done to improve the water quality in our County and enjoy a spring afternoon at the park.
