Cranberry Turkey Sliders
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Whole Fresh Cranberries
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Orange Juice
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 12 Slider rolls, cut in half widthwise
- Turkey leftovers- about a pound
- 1/2 Pound Brie Cheese
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Method-
In a small sauce pan, heat the cranberries, sugar, OJ, and cinnamon. Bring to a low boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir up the berries so they start to break down. Cool in the fridge.
Spray a 9×13 pan and place the bottom layer of the rolls. Arrange the turkey over the bread. Slice the brie into slices and arrange over the turkey. Spoon out the cranberry over the cheese and top with the rest of the bread.
Melt the butter with the maple syrup and brown sugar. Brush over the top of the rolls.
Cover with foil, but spray it first so it doesn’t stick to the top. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
Bake covered at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, uncover and bake for 10 more.
Serve and enjoy!
